Bradley Consulting and Management/BCM has a network of select physicians across the United States who perform Independent Medical Examinations, File Reviews and Peer Reviews. The network is composed of board certified physicians and chiropractors who are highly qualified in their areas of expertise. We are able to schedule the examination close to the claimant’s home or work in a timely fashion.
We have been coordinating IME’s since 1994. We have a wealth of experience in the worker’s compensation industry to assure that your needs are met. Our volume of business has allowed us to establish payment rates with examining physicians that can result in significant savings for you.
Our highly trained Examination Coordinator is familiar with your special requirements and coordinates each case from beginning to end with the assistance of a Registered Nurse. Our sophisticated software capabilities include diary date systems and geographic mapping to aid in the process.
When a file is received, the Coordinator determines if this IME needs to be scheduled close to the employee’s work or home. The Nurse then reviews the medical information and chooses an appropriate physician.
All inclusive in our rate are the phone calls needed to coordinate the IME, letters to the claimant and attorney (if applicable), letters and copies of medical information to the physician, and review of the report. All appointments are reconfirmed per phone call to the claimant to assure attendance. If needed, we can arrange transportation to the IME. We can also arrange to have an interpreter or nurse case manager at the appointment.
After conducting a comprehensive, impartial examination, the physician writes a report covering all the areas we have specified according to your directions. Reports are reviewed by a BCM Nurse for accuracy, content and to make certain your specific concerns are addressed. The report is faxed immediately to you.
